Counselling in Stoneleigh
I'm Claire Smith, a BACP accredited psychodynamic therapist (216379) based at the next station along in Worcester Park. If you're in Stoneleigh and looking for a local therapist, I'm practically on your doorstep.
One stop away
My practice is at Manor Drive Medical Centre in Worcester Park, KT4 7LG, one stop on the train from Stoneleigh, about three minutes. It's barely worth sitting down. Worcester Park station is then a two-minute walk from the practice.
If you'd rather walk or cycle, it's about fifteen minutes along The Avenue or through the residential roads. And if you're driving, there's parking near the centre.
Your neighbourhood therapist
Stoneleigh and Worcester Park are separated by a station and not much else. Many of my clients live in Stoneleigh, around Stoneleigh Broadway, the roads off Stoneleigh Park Road, or near the Sparrow Farm area. For them, getting to therapy is barely a detour.
That accessibility makes a real difference. Weekly therapy works best when it's easy to attend, and being just a few minutes away removes one of the common barriers. You don't need to plan your afternoon around it. You just go.
How I can help
I work with adults who want to understand themselves better. Psychodynamic therapy looks at the patterns underneath, the experiences and relationships that shape how you feel now. It's not about quick fixes. It's about developing the kind of self-awareness that lasts.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or just a persistent sense that something is off, therapy can help you make sense of it. Sessions are weekly, lasting 50 minutes.
